Ade Gascoyne

Ade and His wife Mary have been involved in the life of this vibrant family church for over 14 years in various leadership roles. In September 2014 Ade accepted the call to become Pastor of the church and Ade and Mary now live in the heart of Totnes with their four daughters (Esther, Dulce, Seraphina & Honour). As a family they are committed bring the Kingdom of God into the community and the community into the Kingdom.

What do you love most about your work?

I love seeing what happens when people discover The Lord and begin to understand the significance who they are in His sight. The sense of freedom, belonging and purpose in new believers is both tangible and wonderful!  I love to be able to spend time in the word of God (The Bible) until God speaks. I love feeling the power of the word in my own life and taking time to create biblical messages that can throw light upon contemporary life and culture. Also, as leaders we have a great vantage point to see many of the countless unglamorous ways that people in the church family demonstrate genuine love for each other.

Revd Ade Gascoyne graduated from Spurgeons College ministerial training programme in 2014 before his ordination and commissioning to lead TUFC.  TUFC embraces an ethos of ‘every believer ministry,’ Ade is therefore committed to team leadership and to supporting developing believers who wish to grow in character and kingdom impact.
